Welcome to Appleby Custom Knives.  My name is Bob Appleby, I am a self taught, full-time knife maker. I started out forging ornamental iron work.  I forged my first knife in 1995 from a railroad spike and have been making knives ever since.

I make fixed blade knives in a wide variety of classic, period and modern patterns and use a wide variety of handle materials both natural and synthetic. I also make my on leather and Kydex sheaths.

I use no prefabricated material, all phases of production and construction are preformed by me including heat treatment.
